The Limerick Diner is located at 411 West Ridge Pike in Limerick, Pennsylvania, a short detour from the North Lewis Road exit on Route 422.
The Limerick Diner has been a well-respected family establishment landmark for over 50 years. When the Limerick Diner came to town in 1956, Ridge Pike served as the primary route between Philadelphia and Reading and points west. Driving through our area back then, travelers saw little else but bucolic farmland, a few roadside stands, and our brand new Silk City diner built by the Paterson Vehicle Company of Paterson, New Jersey.
Over the years, as the population grew, so did the diner's popularity. In 1968, the owners upgraded the original diner with a brand new, much larger unit built by Swingle Diners of Springfield, New Jersey. With further expansions, the diner today seats over 250 people.
The tradition continues and will improve with the new ownership, which brings in experience from New York, New Jersey and Chicago. The Limerick Diner features a full bar, an expansive menu sure to satisfy any craving. Our mouth-watering array of tantalizing baked goods comes from our own ovens and from the expert, world-class Manhattan bakeries and pastry shops.
And don't forget: You can stop by any time of the day or night to get a full meal or a light snack. The Limerick is always at your service, 24-7!
